EILC 2008

In the end I want to publish something that might be of special interest for those who spend the EILC 2006 with me in Härnösand . Midsweden University officially has an EILC 2008 this year!! EILC stands for Erasmus Intensive Language Course. In 2007 Miun skipped it. The old EILC 2006 page is deleted and new site of this year's course is http://www.miun.se/eilc/ . Looks quite similar to our starting page two years ago. Only Björn is now Johanna (check personal staff). And they could have at least published new pictures from Hans and Ella. The new course is going to start in 2 weeks. If I imagine I would have stayed in Sundsvall as first planned, I would welcome the EILC students on their Campus trip... funny. I had no idea when was at their place . But since I only linked my pictures at that time to Hans EILC page, I have to repair my articles from August 2006 now, because all pictures are lost, of course. Luckily I saved at least those from the blog somewhere. But does anyboday h...

I'm not an addict - am I?

My first month as full time employee is over and things are going pretty well. Work is currently quite easy going. I have time to improve things. Most likely it will be worthless when the think-tanks behind the projects create new requirements, but that's ok, because I now get salary. The freshly graduated students I know all go the same prestige-track: first they buy a new computer. I did it, too, for my old one was barely working since I drowned it once during a legen-dary story (Hälsningar till Mainz, lil åpa). Considering the law of freshly graduated students a flat television in a minimum size of 60" will follow, right after a new by-far-too-expensive car and right before the super-duper dolby soround audio system with playstation 3 which gets lost in the living hall of my new huge single-appartment. I - dont - think - so. Instead I asked for holidays and I hope to get a response, soon. If everything goes well, I will escape the summer for two weeks in July. As I said, wo...

First week home

More than a week has passed, since I left Sweden. It seems much longer. After I had arrived in Germany I traveled immidiately half way to Aachen. The night I stayed at a friends place (thanks Michael!!!), just for handing in my thesis on the next morning. While I was in Sweden, I was not happy for not being at home on my first night home. But in the end, it was good, I think, not to have time to think too much about where I have been just one day before. And the following days stayed interesting. Maybe because I was prepared for going home since a long time, but until now, I do not miss Sundsvall too much. But maybe it only comes later. The people I miss, but I have the feeling I would see them again, soon. But still. On Thursday morning, when I waited at university, counting the time had changed. Before I left Sundsvall, I was counting backwards (7 days left, 6 days left) and until Wednesday I counted forward. 24 hours ago, I had breakfast in Nacksta. Thoughts like this arose several ...
